Cheers for 2012!

I have been thinking how to rightfully end 2012. I have several options like watching movies, dining out with friends, DVD marathon at home, clean the house or make my 2012 pledge. For now, I ended up doing my last option.

For 2012, i promise to do the following:
1. Be my family's protector. There have been several issues that arose this year involving my family, specially my mother. I know she had been badly hurt by the people she used to love most. I saw her cry. I saw her fight. And I promise myself that it would not happen again this year. I would always protect my family.

2. Be still. God has plans for everyone. He has plans for me. He must be in control of me. For this year, I would surrender myself to Him, worship Him, obey Him and trust Him. Let His will be done.

3. Be fit and healthy. I told myself to exercise this year but procrastinating has been my favorite hobby. That's the reason why my jeans won't fit me anymore. This year, I would always find time to exercise and eat healthy foods. Oh, I do hope that I can do this. I love foods.

4. Be more positive. Optimism is one of my great quality. However, for this year I should double this positive energy to double the positive results.

5. Be able to find a good job. Since I will be graduating this March, I should be able to land a good job. 2012 is now the start of payback time. Though my parents doesn't obligate me to help and support them, I know that it's my responsibility to support them. They have been working so hard for my entire life and now is the start to let them rest and enjoy the greatness of life.

6. Be able to spend time with friends. 2011 has been a busy year for me since it is my last year in college. I wasn't able to bond with my high school friends and some college friends. I hope 2012 would be the perfect time to bond again with them and enjoy things like we used to have before.

7. Be able to save. I know that I have been thrifty last 2011 but I want to save more in order to have a better gift to share next Christmas. I would save more in order to dine with my family in different restaurants. I would save more in order to travel and visit places I only see in magazines.

8. Be able to travel. This is never far from reality since my family and I will be going to Bohol this February. This will be the start of my travelling adventure. It has been my dream to travel around the globe and with proper savings I can fulfill it.

9. Be able to maintain this blog. I tried several times to create a blog yet I failed. 2012 will be the start of my blog year. I will try my best to update it every day.

10. Be able to find love. I never been into any serious relationship for several years. Maybe I was to picky or too busy to search for one. But this year, I am positive that I will be able to find the right man for me. I will finally meet my game changer. :)

My First Post

one of my mentors in college told me that as a mass communication student, i should be used in creating blogs. i told her that it was close to impossible since i am not used in maintaining this kind of things. but after some years, i have read different blogs. i was able to meet several bloggers and got inspired to create one.

it took me years to finally come up with a real blog. why? because i think i'm too busy to manage one. but because of being preoccupied with things, i was urge to have a blog to release my untold thoughts, stories, dreams and hopes.

hopefully i'll be able to maintain my blog which i will consider as my virtual home. let me share with you my stories, my thoughts, my dreams and my hopes.
